Allstar Performance & Hoosier Racing Tire to Provide AELMT Contingency Awards in 2016

May 24, 2016

2016 Season Set to Open this Friday at Winston Speedway

American Ethanol Late Model Tour officials are pleased to announce that Allstar Performance and Hoosier Racing Tire have agreed to become marketing partners with AELMT for the 2016 season. Both Allstar Performance, a division of Lane Automotive, based in Watervliet, Michigan and Hoosier Racing Tire, based in Lakeville, Indiana will be providing two product certificate awards for race teams at every event. The first schedule event for the tour is this Friday at Winston Speedway in Rothbury, Michigan.

Allstar Performance will present two awards at each American Ethanol Late Model Tour race in 2016. A $50 product certificate will be awarded to the driver who sets fast time in qualifying. Allstar Performance will also present a $50 product certificate to the driver who advances the most positions in the A-Main. This award will be called the Allstar Performance Hard Charger Award.

Hoosier Racing Tire will also present two awards at each American Ethanol Late Model Tour race in 2016. With the anticipated high car count at each event, we can expect some last chance races and some drivers will not be making the show. Fortunately, Hoosier Racing Tire will be helping some of those non-transfer drivers by providing two certificates, good for one free tire. The first driver not making the A-Main and one other, random, non-transfer driver will be the recipients of those free tire award certificates.

Hoosier Racing tire is the official tire of the American Ethanol Late Model Tour and Ruhlman Race Cars will be the tire supplier for the tour in 2016. Tires, including M30S, can be purchased at each AELMT event or during the week at the Ruhlman Race Cars shop in Clarklake, Michigan. For more information about Ruhlman Race Cars and purchasing tires visit or call 517-529-4661.

The American Ethanol Late Model Tour begins the 2016 season this Friday at Winston Speedway in Rothbury, Michigan. Over 30 AELMT regulars are expected to participate in this season opening event. Street Stocks, B Mods, Dirt Stocks, Warriors and Young Guns will join the AELMT on this action packed night. Pit gates open at 5:00pm with practice and qualifying starting at 6:00pm. The racing program begins at 7:30pm. For ticket information visit

Twelve events in total make up the 2016 championship series with a $10,000 grand prize. For more American Ethanol Late Model Tour news, visit the official website at The official tour Facebook fan page is located at  You can also follow AELMT on Twitter by visiting

About Lane Automotive & Allstar Performance -

Founded in 1964 as a part-time venture in George Lane’s garage, Lane Automotive has become a speed equipment industry phenomenon. Since the days when local racers lined up to buy racing parts at that tiny, one man shop, the company has grown and is comprised of four separate divisions. One thing has remained the same throughout the years of growth at Lane Automotive: the desire to provide the best parts and the best service at competitive prices.

The key to success in a car building project is access to high quality, reasonably priced parts that get the job done right. Each Allstar Performance part is the result of our dedication to research and development. Once a need is established, parts are designed and manufactured by talented craftsmen, many of whom are racers themselves. Many Allstar Performance parts are one-of-a-kind; you won't find them anywhere else! For more information about Allstar Performance or to place your parts order today visit;
