American Ethanol Late Model Tour kicks off third season on Friday, May 26th at I-96 Speedway #DualOnDirt

Rochester Hills, Michigan (Tuesday, May 2nd, 2017): As the 2017 racing season within the American Ethanol Late Model Tour and the American Ethanol Modified Tour presented by Allstar Performance gets closer and closer to the big Memorial Day Holiday Weekend doubleheader, the anticipation keeps climbing for each tour the closer the holiday weekend gets. With 21 full-time AELMT teams on board and an impressive 20 AEMODT teams committed to the full schedules, the most prominent teams in the Midwestern / Great Lakes region of the United States and even from across the border in Canada are ready to embark on their respective schedules.

Both tours have a slew of sponsors who are a major part of the 2017 racing season. In addition to race day event sponsors, there is a gaggle of contingency sponsors that have stepped up their support not only with AELMT, but also within the inaugural season of AEMODT racing. Listed below are the Race Day Event sponsors (Part Two of Three) and all of them apply to both tours. Part I featured the Heat Race sponsors while Part II concentrates on the Redraw, Last Chance Race(s), the B Main (For Late Models only), the Features and Post-Race Ceremonies. Much like with the Race Day Procedures and Order of Events, both tours will have the same support from those sponsors to keep both tours as consistent as possible in all facets.

American Ethanol Redraw: Drivers from each tour, based on their Heat Race finish (Usually between the top one to three depending on car count) will appear in front of the grandstands to participate in the American Ethanol Redraw. The American Ethanol Redraw will determine the starting positions for the nights’ Feature for positions six up to as high as 10, depending on car counts and the number of heat races conducted.

Once the heat races and the redraw are complete, there will be one to three Last Chance Races, the number of which will be determined based on car counts per race day. Within those last chance race(s), cars will transfer into the Feature. How many cars transfer will be based on car counts plus the number of last chance races ran. NUVU Fuels and Horsepower Innovations have been designated as sponsors for those last chance races.

NUVU Fuels: Stations located in Ionia and Rockford, Michigan, NUVU Fuels is one of Michigan's first to offer E15 a Biofuel designed for all 2001 & newer vehicles as well as offering E30, and E85 for Flex Fuel Vehicles.Mitch Miller (C.E.O.) and Jason Jerke (C.O.O.) of Carbon Green BioEnergy are at the forefront of providing Carbon Green YellowHose E85 and E15 to more markets throughout the state of Michigan as well as in surrounding states.
