Lake Odessa, MI (Monday, July 1, 2019) - The American Ethanol Late Model Tour (AELMT) has announced the final race of the 2019 season will be held at I-96 Speedway, in Lake Odessa, Michigan. This will mark the first time I-96 Speedway has held the American Ethanol Late Model Tour Championship Event. Past AELMT Championship night venues have included Merritt Speedway, Tri-City Motor Speedway and Berlin Raceway. The 2019 edition was originally scheduled for Atomic Speedway on Saturday, October 12th but was cancelled earlier this season.
I-96 Speedway will now pick up the Championship event in replacement of their May 25th YellowHose.com 40 that was postponed due to weather. The grand finale of the 2019 season will unfold on the originally scheduled night, Saturday, October 12th for the final $4,000 of the AELMT season, with a $10,000 championship grand prize on the line. The event will be held in conjunction with the Great Lakes Super Sprints. More details of the special Saturday night event will be announced soon.
